INTERIOR DESIGN
This home was designed for creative academics. The goal was to transform their space using natural materials mixed with raw industrial elements. Earth tones meet edgy metals. To honour the charm of the original house, we worked to integrate original elements. The oak staircase and exposed brick walls remain in tack. Mixing in a few family pieces that held memories from generations past.
We introduced soapstone, oiled white oak, Baltic birch and untreated perforated steel, reworked the hallway into a touchdown library, and built shelving to span entire rooms for housing books and treasures.
